Hi, I'm an Ostomate. I know how you feel. I've been there. I'm one of a million Ostomates in North America who are leading normal happy lives. We have been given a second chance. We work, make love, have babies, take part in sports, travel and eat delicious food.

The United Ostomy Support Group, Ottawa Inc. is a volunteer, charitable organization dedicated to assisting people who have or will have intestinal or urinary tract diversions by providing peer support, education services and support to the family unit.  We also promote these services to the public and medical professions. We hold information meetings on the Third Thursday at 7:30 p.m. of each month September - November, January - May  (December and June may be on another date.  See Calendar for changes to those dates.) at: Canada Care Medical Building 1644 Bank Street at Heron Road (in behind the Canadian Tire Store) Lots of free, well lit parking. Wheel chair accessible.
